Explore Choral Singing

On Wednesdays at 7:45pm, an opportunity for men aged 18+ to explore choral singing, at Lillington Nursery and Primary School, Cubbington Road, Lillington, Leamington Spa. CV32 7AG. If you missed the two taster sessions at Lillington Bowling Club, you are very welcome to come along to these.

Professional Tuition

Each session will be led by Peter Wilman, an experienced professional vocal coach, who will begin at the beginning! No need to have sung in a choir before, and learning music-reading skills will be part of the course.

Wednesday Evening Course

The course of Wednesday evening sessions will lead up to a performance with Royal Leamington Spa Bach Choir, for those who want to, before Christmas. Sessions will be £5 per evening or £45 for all ten sessions, all music provided, and it won't all be singing, there will be time to socialise too.

Tenor or Bass?

You won't be asked to choose tenor or bass straightaway. Later in October there will be an opportunity for 1:1 sessions with the leader to explore your voice and decide if you want to sing tenor or bass for the rest of the course, ready for the Christmas performance on Saturday 16th December.

Royal Leamington Spa Bach Choir hopes this opportunity will interest men in joining the regular four-part choir. We do have auditions, but this course will give you the experience you need to join us to sing with confidence and enjoy the classical choral repertoire.

If you don't want to sign up with Leamington Bach Choir, but would like to carry on singing, we will introduce you to other choirs in the Leamington and Warwick area who will welcome you.
